Handcrafted in the U.S.A. from the finest 100X quality fur felt, The Golden Eagle has a soft, elegant feel and is made to be passed from one generation to the next. Its timeless profile features a 5” cattleman crown and 4” curved brim, complemented by a classic self-felt hat band.
The 160th Anniversary Collection celebrates John B. Stetson’s founding of his namesake company in 1865 and embodies his original commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Like each limited-edition hat in the collection, the Golden Eagle is marked by a Five Dollar gold coin emblem, a nod to the price paid for the first Stetson ever sold, by John B. Stetson to a passing bullwhacker in the Colorado Rockies in the early 1860s. For the Golden Eagle, this emblem includes genuine gold plating, and the hat includes additional premium upgrades including a “160” deluxe emerald satin liner and custom roan leather sweatband. Each Golden Eagle includes a numbered 100X certificate of authenticity, hardshell travel case and premier hat box.
